the AWAKENING
suddenly i hear a powerful noise
striking my heart and soul
a sound I've never heard before
but HE wanted me to know

and as we danced
to the OTHER SIDE
of the garden
i looked UP into the stars
to see David's face
GLOWING
with the brightest light
I have ever seen
and THEN
he smiled at me
and watched
as my H E A R T and S O U L
burned FREE
lifting me UP to a place
i've never been before
